FAST_SORT Exception thrown running command line graph

Hi,

I can successfully execute and run my graph through the Clover ETL Designer. However, when I try to run the same graph through the command line using clover.bat, I receive the following error:

ERROR [main] - Unknown component: FAST_SORT class: FAST_SORT
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: FAST_SORT

I’m running Clover version 3.1.2 on Windows 7 with JDK version 1.6.0_20.

Hi,

FAST_SORT is a commercial component bundled with CloverETL Designer product. Based on your post I assume you were trying to use the open source engine to run your graph designed in Designer containing FAST_SORT component - which is generating the error message described.

The license of CloverETL Designer does not allow the embedded engine be isolated and executed independently outside of the designer (say from command line).

If you are interested in running your transformations with commercial components outside of the designer - for example to automate the processing - then CloverETL Server is the option to accomplish that. Optionally a commercial engine can be purchased too.
