I defined my XLS Data reader Node without setting the numRecords attribute, because the excel file (in real world application) can have variable number of records.
However, when I executed my graph using a test file of 24 rows. The XLS Data Reader was sending 28 rows ( the extra 4 rows are empty) to its output port. Is there a way to fix this problem?
Were there last rows?
Probably they were not really empty, but they had some invisible data.
Their would be maximum number of XLS Data in your Excel Sheets. So you need to see that the files don’t get damaged and lost. If this happens, than only make use of Repair Excel Files. This software recovers all damaged data files and your files would be free from corruption.
