Database Connection inconsistent

Hi,

When I am trying to extract the metadata from database or trying to establish database connection often
I am facing with the error.
OALL8 is an inconsistent state
Even at times its taking very long time to establish the connection or the eclipse hangs.
Can I know the reasons for such behaviour and also the solution for same

it is known jdbc Oracle thin driver bug (http://asanga-pradeep.blogspot.com/2008 … -with.html, http://forums.project.net/showthread.php?t=55, http://ramblingabout.wordpress.com/2007 … ent-state/, http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread. … 8&tstart=0). Try to use older or newer version of oracle driver.
