BMC Remedy ODBC Driver

Hi Folks…

I am a business solutions architect. We have never used this product. We are currently using Pentaho’s Spoon.

Can anyone tell me if Clover ETL can integrate with BMC Remedy through the BMC Remedy ODBC Driver?

Hi eestalen,

we will support generic ODBC access in CloverETL 3.3.0M1 “milestone 1” which should be released in second half of February. You can test how well you can access your data with it.

Current version of Clover Designer supports ODBC drivers through JDBC-ODBC bridge - kind of what Pentaho is using (probably), so the BMC Remedy should work. Although looking at Pentaho forums, there are some issues with BMC Remedy ODBC driver reported. You may try to use JDBC driver for the underlaying database instead.
