Tool to “Data Load” or “ETL” — from SQL Server into Amazon Redshift

I am trying to figure out decent but simple tool which I can host myself in AWS EC2, which will allow me to pull data out of SQL Server 2005 and push to Amazon Redshift. I basically have a view in SQL Server on which I am doing SELECT * and I need just put all this data into Redshift. The biggest concern is that there is a lot of data, and this will need to be configurable so I can queue it, run as a nighly/continuous job, etc.

designing a process flow like this in our CloverETL Designer (which is a visual tool for designing data transformations) is quite straight-forward and is only a matter of adding and linking 2 components and configuring the connections to both AWS and SQL Server. Furthermore, our CloverETL Server which is a runtime platform for automation and orchestration of such process flows will easily enable you to schedule the data loads to run on a regular basis or get triggered upon various kinds of events. More information about these tools can be found on our website where you can also easily download a 45-day trial to see if Clover is what you are looking for. Just click on the DOWNLOAD 45-DAY TRIAL button, fill in a simple form and you are good to go with trying out Clover.
Once you start CloverETL Designer you will be welcomed with a tutorial which will guide you through the basics of how to use it and will provide you with many simple, yet useful examples in the section Help > CloverETL Examples.
