# Load partial data from one db table to anothe

I try to load 2 columns from source table to 2 columns in target table. Even if I specified load fields, clover fields, I always get the following error message.

ERROR [DB\_OUTPUT\_TABLE0] - java.sql.SQLException: Maximum # of errors exceeded when inserting record: ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column

The 2 columns in source table have either same or bigger size than the 2 columns in target table.

SQL\> desc LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG\_UNIV

COVERAGE\_AREAS VARCHAR2(50)

SQL\> desc LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG

TELECAST VARCHAR2(80)  
DAYS VARCHAR2(80)  
S\_TIME VARCHAR2(80)  
R\_DUR VARCHAR2(80)  
MEASUREMENT\_PERIODS VARCHAR2(40)  
…

Only one row from source table LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG has been inserted into the target table, LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG\_UNIV

Correct the typo in my original message:

The 2 columns in source table (LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG) have either same or smaller size than the 2 columns in target table(LOAD\_GLXY\_DEMOG\_UNIV).
