# How to identify UL to DB2 Connection?

Hi,  
I would like to create connection DB2 from another computers (my computer does not have DB2 database), how to identify URL in the connection, please me an example.

Hi Jean,

First you need a DB2 JDBC driver. It is not packed with Designer in default, you can add it using the little green plus button on the right side of your screenshot. When you add it, a new line appears in the list of available drivers. And when you click on the new line, URL is filled with a default value automatically.
