I see that all examples of custom nodes in the wiki refer to a SynchronizeUtils.cloverYield() method. What is the purpose of this call? I couldn’t find documentation for it anywhere.

SynchronizeUtils.cloverYield() method is obsolete and empty now. You can simply ignore it.
