Re: Do not use Custom Hava Component?

Hi Sergey, generally speaking, the only noticeable overhead caused by using CustomJavaComponent (versus using in-built components) is the extra computing resources needed for the class file creation. In other words, the Java code needs to be compiled into bytecode before it can be executed (interpre...

Re: Generate dynamic metadata

Hello Ram, what we refer to as "dynamic metadata" in CloverDX is basically a concept where the metadata structure is extracted from a result of an SQL query. In other words, the concept of dynamic metadata (aka SQL query metadata) works with database table structures. However, there is no ...

Re: SOAP API Documentation

Hello Paul, I am afraid that there is no detailed documentation on the SOAP API feature out there (besides the official CloverDX online documentation , of course). The reason for this is that the SOAP API has been designed primarily for the Designer-Server communication. Although this feature has be...

Re: How to create empty list in CTL2

Hi Mukunku, there are a handful of other options how to do that (see the attached graph). However, the fundamental question is why you would need to create such a list. As our documentation describes , a list is empty by default. If you could elaborate more on why you consider creating a list with s...

Re: File Comparison Graph - Outputting 2 rows for each row read.

Hi Rodrigofrb and Andras, first of all, I would like to thank Andras for the effort to provide a lot of different approaches to this data challenge. Your input is much appreciated. Let me make just a minor contribution to this topic as well, just to demonstrate another possible approach here. I have...

Re: PROBLEMS with LookupJoin Component

Hi S.Alex.Johnson, both of those errors indicate a problem with the inconsistency of the lookup source data and the respective metadata used. For instance, the metadata set up in the lookup configuration (Outline pane > Lookups > your lookup > Table definition > Metadata) do not coincide with the co...

Re: Authentication Issue – CloverDX and Workday

Hi Staraptor78, as the last post on that thread says, we would need to have more details at disposal to troubleshoot this. Kindly provide us with the following details: ⋅ Your graph with the WebServiceClient component and its configuration (feel free to mask sensitive data, such as usernam...

Re: How to pull input parameters from one jobflow to another

Hi Mohamed,
when you select the checkbox, you need to fill in the parameters manually. Attached is an example. The parameters called ${ONE} and ${TWO} will be pushed to the job4.jbf from the job3.jbf run.

Re: Using TSKPUT component in CloverDX Designer

Hi Abhilash,
this appears to be a data issue (as opposed to a CloverDX implementation of the IBM MDM components) as described here and here. Therefore, I would suggest reaching out to IBM Support for further assistance.
Kind regards,

Re: How to pull input parameters from one jobflow to another

Hi Mohamed, the selected "Pass parameters from the checked jobflow" checkbox is persisted only if you fill in the respective parameters in the below field. Otherwise, it would automatically deselect since if the list of passed parameters is empty which is expected behavior. If this is not ...

Hello Mayamit, the error message indicates that the connection failed due to a read timeout. You can try increasing the Request timeout and Connect timeout in the CloverDX Designer by navigating to Window > Preferences > CloverDX > CloverDX Server Integration. The default value is 30 seconds for bot...

Re: How to get JMS_MESSAGE_ID using the JMS_DATA_READER component

Hi, taking advantage of the JMSReader requires that the transformation of JMS messages to records is written in Java. Please find an example graph attached that demonstrates how the JMS message ID can be harvested. In order to make the graph work on your end, you would need to create a working JMS c...

Re: CloverDX 5.2.0 - Too many open files

This request is being addressed directly by CloverCARE Support outside of this Forum. However, worth mentioning is that there is a known issue in the 5.2.0 version of CloverDX (demonstrated by the "Too many open files" error) which can occur when using AdoptOpenJDK 11 with the CloverDX Ser...

Re: LDAPReader Error - Unprocessed Continuation Reference(s)

The solution to the problem is the following: ⋅ When using the port 389 in the URL, change it to 3268. ⋅ When using the port 636 in the URL (when connecting via SSL), change it to 3269. More information about why it works this way can be found either in the Microsoft Active Direc...
