Re: Creating a Hierarchy Tranformation

Hi, skylaneffz, if your input file is the same as you posted, i.e. always sorted by CHILD_ID and the numbers from the root to leaves are always sorted in ascending order (e.g. 2000 can not be a parent of 1500), you can use a Reformat component with the following CTL code. //#CTL2 map[string, string]...

Re: How to read CSV file recursively?

Hi jolness, incremental reading of db records works differently than incremental reading of csv files. Unfortunately, with csv files, you have no option to filter data you want to read. You just have a small "bookmark" that indicates where your reading ended last time. This bookmark contai...

Re: Clover Server Execution History log file location

Hello Jerry, your issue is caused by the archivator task. It deletes records older than 24 hours by default so your log is unfortunately gone. But you could modify this task to archive old records instead of deleting them and run the graph again. You can do that via Scheduling tab. If you want to se...

Re: Comparing records

Hi Matt, I think that your case is pretty specific so it is not necessary to make a new component for it. You can achieve the same result with a combination of ExtSort and Reformat. ExtSort is capable of sorting by more than one key and Reformat takes care of adding the unique account id. Sort key f...

Re: Call a select statment for each record

Hi ponderena, if you want to do some query on the database, you can prepare your statement e.g. in a Reformat component with CTL code as following: function integer transform() { $out.0.query = "select nvl(max(days),0) from table where key = " + $in.0.key; return OK; } Then you can query y...

Re: how to process each record at a time

Hi Kelvin, I am not exactly sure what you want to do. If you want to process the same records in multiple ways, you can use a SimpleCopy component. This component copies all of your input records into multiple outputs. Then you can process them any way you want. If you want to do something else, ple...

Re: How to perform parallel operations into a Graph

Dear fabrizio.orlando, try to build your graph e.g. this way: 1. Use a Reformat component where you add one new column named e.g. join_id. Generate numbers from 1 to "n" (where "n" is a sum of your input records) in its transformation and store them in join_id column. This will a...

Re: Universal data reader - can't read from input port

Hi pOctavian, (we also answered your message on [email protected].com) You are right in your guess. Asterisk sign serves as a wildcard mask here and we are not currently supporting wildcard handling in the URLs with ":source" in it. Workaround may be to use RunGraph component, which will p...
