End User Front End for CloverDX Server

An anyone suggest a front-end that will allow end users to upload files and then execute CLoverDX graphs or jobflows?

We currently have a custom written Java application to do this, but I would like to replace it.

Thanks for any help,

-Paul

Read in a line of text into each record

This seems a simple question. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I want to load lines of text from a flat file. The data is delimited, but is not clean. So, I want to load each line as a record, and then use some reformats to clean it up and parse it into fields. Can I do this with the Unive...

Pull Execution History from the http API

I wanted to get a listing of the job status for the last day's activity. This is a very simple graph, but it was difficult for me to get it to work. There were two challenges: 1. Getting the HTTP parameters correct. Remember that if you add parameters through the input mapping, you must delete them ...

Where do I find the XSD for executions_history? I am using 4.1.0.018

The documentation points me to CloverETL Server URL: http://[host]:[port]/clover/schemas/executions.xsd There is a file there, but it just points out to <xs:import namespace="http://cloveretl.com/server/data" schemaLocation="cs.xsd"/> Am I missing something? Does anyone have the ...

Re: Can I get multiple returned files from Launch Services?

Hi Paul, Launch Services are based on HTTP calls, which does not support more than one file downloaded at once. A solution to this would be zipping the files and sending that through the Launch Service. Regards, Thanks for the suggestion. Seems like a great idea. However, I cannot figure out how I ...

Hi Paul, Launch Services are based on HTTP calls, which does not support more than one file downloaded at once. A solution to this would be zipping the files and sending that through the Launch Service. Regards, Of course that is perfect. I will just zip the files up and send them all as one...

Can I get multiple returned files from Launch Services?

All of the examples in default/graph/launch return only one file: an HTML file, a CSV or an XLS file. Can I return more than one file? At least, I would like to return HTML, so the user can see results and also return a csv file to the user in the same action. I cannot find a way to do this. If I se...

Parameters in Launch Services

Is this still true in the current version? I have many graphs that I set up with parameters. Most of those use the parameters in the where clause of SQL queries. If I want to convert these to Launch Services on my CloverETL server, do I have to convert all of those parameters to dictionary entries, ...

Re: Generic Reformat to Trim all strings

Thanks for the suggestion. However, setting Trim to "true" did not seem to make any change in my data. The trailing spaces remain. Even if it did work, it would take a lot of time to set Trim to "true" for hundreds of fields in my metadata. I appreciate the comment about performa...

Re: Reformat - replace on all the fields

As you see from the error message: Function replace(string, string, string) is not applicable for the arguments (record(TRN_045_ROL_TYPE),string,string)". You cannot change all of the fields in one single operation. You will have to step through the fields one by one. Try: //#CTL2 // Transforms i...

Generic Reformat to Trim all strings

Our accounting system often pads strings with spaces. I have to trim() strings all of the time. Usually I realize it when my graph fails. Using Record Functions, I created a very simple Reformat component that trims all of the strings in the input data. It is generic, and works with any metadata. I...

Send data to an HTML table

I use this a lot in my CloverETL graphs to send output to end users. Most often, I format a table and then send it as the content of an email message. I have attached a simple example graph that will send me the output of the DataGenerator. It uses record functions to get the datatype and the names ...

Re: Split string into new lines

This seems like a job for the Normalizer component.

Can you give some more information about your requirements? A short example would be helpful.
