Re: Replace Carriage return in CTL

Hi Thomas, As per my testing, the CTL2 code can handle the N/A text unchanged. However, I have at least used brackets to separate the text from the carriage return. Also, as you may have Carriage Returns but not Line Feeds in your input data, vice versa, or both, you can use the following expression...

Re: CustomJavaWriter - How to write file from byte

Hi Thomas, I am glad to see that you have successfully achieved your goal using the CustomJavaComponent. Thanks for posting the solution. However, I am a little bit concerned about the UniversalDataWriter difficulties as well. Would you be so kind and tell me what exactly have you experienced? As a ...

Re: Unable to resolve parameter

Hi Sriram, The dynamic parameter is used when the value of the parameter changes in time, for example, if you use function today() which returns different value every day. To find out the solution in your issue I might need more information: 1.) Are all your projects suddenly unable to resolve secur...

Re: Salesforce Reader not accepting certain data as string metadata

Hi Mike, This History Field function in Salesforce is quite special because the OldValue and NewValue fields are "anyType" field type. The anyType field type in Salesforce is dynamic and returns string, date, number, or boolean data depending on the kind of field involved. The CloverDX doe...

Re: Clear Persistent Lookup

Hi Paul, First, let me please recap the scenario. You run some sequence of graphs (presumably assured by RunGraph component in each parent graph) and when you want to run the sequence for the second time, without afore deleting the lookup files, the lookup stores invalid data (in general, twice the ...

Re: Http Connector Issue

Hi Paul, You are right, the Field name is an internal CloverDX denotation where only letters, numbers, and underscore (_) are allowed. This works as designed even though it obviously limits the "Add input fields as parameter" function to be suitable only for those parameters whose names do...

Re: CloverETL Engine, graph edges

Hi, This functionality in the Designer is called "debug mode" and it is set to "true" by default in case you run the graph from the Designer. If you want the debug data to be saved even though you have not started the graph directly from the Designer, you have to set a property d...

Re: Read and compare values from csv

Hi, We have tried to review your java code but for some reason, we haven't been able to run it as it is and review the data flow. Would you mind attaching some example graph so that we can take a closer look? However, I would like to suggest you another solution using functions and components in the...

Re: Http connector response file

Hi, Off the top of my head, I am not aware of any parameter or functionality that would limit the number of records or size of response content while using especially HTTPConnector. As I might have not fully understood your use case, would it be possible to provide us with an example of your graph o...

Re: Connections and Jobflows are in text files

As a matter of fact, double-clicking the connection file in the Navigator pane always opens details about the connection as a text, this is a correct behavior. If you want to get to the "Edit DB Connection" screen, you should double-click the connection in an Outline pane (below the Naviga...

Re: Export Graph's Source Data

Hi Tyler, I am afraid that I am not familiar with the business background of your question, therefore I'll try to answer as general as possible. The whole source data that a graph uses (graph itself, data-in directory, metadata, parameters) can be viewed in the Navigator pane in the Designer and out...

Re: Finding difference between two datasets

Hi Shubha, If I understand it correctly, you need to update the database to whatever is in the second table, is that right? If you don't need to keep track of the changes being done to the database table, I would suggest you delete the table rows and replace it with the new data. It is possible to d...

Re: How to enable TLS 1.2

Hi, First of all, please note that the 4.0 version of CloverETL is in status "EOL - End of Life" and it is not supported anymore. Nevertheless, the steps described by Lubos should help to implement TLS1.2 to this old version (as it is stated earlier in the topic, be aware that it won't wor...

Re: HTTP POST text file

Hi Shubha, As a user "the_goat" already advised, the HTTP "411 Length Required" client error response code usually indicates that the server refuses to accept the request without a defined Content-Length header. Generally, the Content-Length header should always be set when a POS...
