Re: Elastic Search Reader/Writer

Hi nathan, The reason the jar is failing to load in the db connections is because it requires Java 9 to work properly and I suspect you are using Java 7 or 8. That being said, currently we officially support Java 9 in CloverDX 5.0, in the case of older version most things should work even with Java ...

Re: Pull Execution History from the http API

Hi Paul,

Thank you for providing a solution to pull execution history from the http API, this will certainly help other customers that might have the same use case as yourself.

Re: ExecuteGraph in JobFlow - bringing dictionary items back to JobFlow

The "Reformat" is building the record that will be assigned to the Dictionary in the next step of the flow which in this case would be SetJobOuput. If you have questions I would recommend reading more about SetJobOutput in our documentation.

Re: ExecuteGraph in JobFlow - bringing dictionary items back to JobFlow

Hi Bruce,

I would highly recommend using the SetJobOutput to set the dictionary value on the graph level. Then in the ExecuteGraph you can directly map the dictionary in the Output Mapping. I have also, taken the liberty of adding an example Project.

Re: CloverETL Data Validation

Hi jaipal, I would highly recommend the following validation tools we offer. Data Reader policy —All our data readers work with selectable data policy which affects how errors in the input data are treated. Different policies allow different reactions to data errors from strict reject over to contro...

Re: SFTP Connection Failing

Hi dfkid, There might be another caused to why CloverETL is refusing to connect with the sFTP, but first I would need a execution with better login. Please follow the instructions below: - Download the file (graph) attached - Copy the graph into your CloverETL Server sandbox. - Run it. The graph ena...

Re: Executing against multiple databases (outside Clover Server if possible)

Hi Vinny, That is exactly how I would recommend setting up such a use case. I would create Parameters (ex. Username, Password, Host) in the main graph that contains the DBInputTable and map them using the ExecuteGraph Component. You will also need to use Dynamic Metadata to account for the changes i...

Re: Executing against multiple databases (outside Clover Server if possible)

Hi vinny, Unfortunately, for the specific use case you are describing a CloverETL Server is the only way possible. The DbInputTable is designed to only accept one database names/hosts/username/password in the connection per graph execution. The only way to accomplish your use case would be to build ...

Re: Flat file size allowed in CloverETL

Hi chanduBI, FlatFileReader should be capable of reading upwards of millions of records, now we are talking about performance it depends of the structure of the data (ex. number of columns), but it should process the records in a reasonable amount of time. The second part of your question, FlatFileR...

Re: MongodbWriter create ObjectId

Unfortunately, that function will not work in the MongoDBWriter component since we require Strict JSON mode. I would recommend using the builtin "_id" field. All new object IDs in this field will be automatically generated when a new object is inserted.

Re: How do we pass the password type as "Password Text"

Hi,

If you want to add the Password Text you will need to do so in the Request Header structure of the WebServiceClient component. I have attached and example graph were you can see the wsse Password Type = PasswordText.

Re: Unable to Extract the fields from the XML String

Hi, It appears that you still had some difficulties with the mapping, in cases like this its important to use the Populate parent record. A good tip is using the root element of the data you need to extract for example in your case it would be Worker and then use Populate parent record for all the o...
