Re: Error importing git

Hi Mohamed, Based on the error provided it appears to be a bug in Eclipse itself (see Eclipse bug 324145 ). Workaround: ⋅ First clone the repository on your local machine ⋅ Then Import -> CloverDX -> Import external CloverDX project ⋅ If the project is a CloverDX Server...

Hi Mehmet, There are multiple ways to accomplish this use case, I would recommend using the Denormalizer component. In our documentation you can see multiple examples that are similar to what you are trying to accomplish. You can also view examples on the Demoralizer in the Clover Designer itself. D...

Re: Launch Configuration references non-existing project

Hi Mohamed, I believe Andras is correct, it appears the cause of the error because the Designer is trying to run a graph that no longer exist in the project. This usually occurs if you are simply clicking on the Start button of the Clover Designer. I would recommend that you go to Run - Run Configur...

Re: How to use a lookup

Hi mohamed,

Andras, explanation is quite accurate. I will agree that is in import to note that if the row count of the Data Base is relatively small then DBLookup works well, anything larger and I would highly recommend using the ExtHashJoin/ExtMergeJoin.

Re: How to add a file to sandbox

Hi Mohamed, If you wish to add files to the folder you created its quite simple. You can either Drag and Drop/Copy and Paste the file in question directly into the Designer UI Navigator Pallet or by going directly into the Sandbox folder in question in your local directory. You can find it by access...

Re: Cannot connect to Mysql

Hi, Unfortunately, the MySQL driver pre-installed in version 4.0 of CloverETL is not compatible with MySQL 8.0. If you are not able to upgrade to our newest version of Designer, you will have to download the newest MySQL driver and add it manually in the CloverETL Designer. If you look at the screen...

Re: Launch Configuration references non-existing project

Hi, Based on the error that you provided it appears the Project is not a CloverDX Project. Please make sure when create creating a Project you select File -> New -> CloverDX Project or if you are using a CloverDX Server choose CloverDX Server Project. If this does not help, please share a screenshot...

Re: Console - See only running components ?

Hi Andreas,

As of today we don't have any option to filter only running Components in the Console. I will discuss with our developers the possibility of implementing such a feature in future releases.

Re: Connector routing 'Dummy' Component ?

Hi Andrase, Unfortunately we don't have a dummy component per say, but I would highly recommend using the Reformat. Like you know the Reformat allows for the passing of input and output records by simply adding the following line of code: $out.0.* = $in.0.*; It won't matter to what connector line yo...

Re: Elastic Search Reader/Writer

Hi nathan, The reason the jar is failing to load in the db connections is because it requires Java 9 to work properly and I suspect you are using Java 7 or 8. That being said, currently we officially support Java 9 in CloverDX 5.0, in the case of older version most things should work even with Java ...

Hi Paul,

Thank you for providing a solution to pull execution history from the http API, this will certainly help other customers that might have the same use case as yourself.

Re: ExecuteGraph in JobFlow - bringing dictionary items back to JobFlow

The "Reformat" is building the record that will be assigned to the Dictionary in the next step of the flow which in this case would be SetJobOuput. If you have questions I would recommend reading more about SetJobOutput in our documentation.

Re: ExecuteGraph in JobFlow - bringing dictionary items back to JobFlow

Hi Bruce,

I would highly recommend using the SetJobOutput to set the dictionary value on the graph level. Then in the ExecuteGraph you can directly map the dictionary in the Output Mapping. I have also, taken the liberty of adding an example Project.
