Re: End User Front End for CloverDX Server

I recommend checking out CloverDX 5.5 when it comes out (within a few weeks). You will not even have to bother with the front-end anymore, we will generate a simple one for you! We call this feature "Data Applications" and it will extend the Data Services even further.

Re: HTTPS connection working on Server Console but on on Designer

I dare to quote Atlassian knowledge base: No subject alternative names present is caused when accessing an application over HTTPS by using the IP address on the URL rather than the domain contained in the remote SSL certificate and the SSL certificate being fetched does not contain the Subject Alter...

Re: HTTPS connection working on Server Console but on on Designer

The error message contains an URL with an IP address. Do you use the same IP address in the "CloverDX Server URL" field in the connection dialog? And does the CN in your certificate match to the IP address? If you have a hostname in the CN, you have to use it in the "CloverDX Server U...

Re: Worker vs. Server heap

You are absolutely correct. Users are supposed to set the heap limit for the Server Core in the setenv script and the heap limit for the Server Worker in the Server GUI > Configuration > Worker.

The heap configuation in the setenv script does not affect the Worker as it runs in a separate JVM.

Re: Is it possible to use OpenJDK on Clover 4.0 or higher

Well, not quite. Let me shed more light on this. We test CloverDX 5.0 and 5.1 against JBoss EAP 7.1.0. We will try to add support for EAP 7.2.0 into CloverDX 5.2.0 and if we find no major obstacles, there is a good chance that we can make it in time (5.2.0 is planned for the end of Q1/2019). However...

Re: Connector routing 'Dummy' Component ?

SimpleCopy does not write anything to the disk so you do not have to worry about the I/O operations.

Re: Connector routing 'Dummy' Component ?

I think SimpleCopy component is definitely prefered over Reformat, its overhead is much lower.

But the best approach in my opinion is to disable edge autorouting and move the edge wherever you want in the graph.

Re: Infosphere Master Data Management

Hi,

I am sorry but this question seems to be outside of scope of CloverCARE support. If you have a specific issue with CloverETL, feel free to ask but from the description you shared, it looks like more of an MDM question which we are not able to help you with.

Thank you for your understanding.

Re: Used Java Platform doesn't provide any java compiler!

Hi Girish,

For your version of CloverETL, we recommend Oracle JDK 8. Your Java code in custom Java components has to be compiled which requires JDK instead of JRE.

Re: Stopping a graph midway

We actually do have a component called Fail now. It requires at least one record flowing into it to work but this can be worked around by using a dummy record.
