Event Listener sends email three times

Hi,
We setup an event listener to send an email when a graph gets an error. For some reason the email is sent three times. I don't see anything in the event listener that would cause this. There is only one email address defined. Any ideas??

Thanks,

Re: Graph fails but still creates empty output file

Thank you Pedro. We have our 4.1 server in place and are working to migrate there, however we're running into a problem communicating with the LDAP. I am in the process of writing this up and will be submitting to support. Thanks again for your reply.

Graph fails but still creates empty output file

Hi, I'm noticing some strange behavior with a graph that I don't recall seeing before. The graph reads a .xlsx, reformats the data and writes to a flat file via a UniversalDataWriter. This graph is scheduled to run on the server daily. If there is no input file for the XLSDataReader, the graph fails...

Universal Data Reader Skipping records

Hi, I’m working on a simple graph that reads a flat file, reformats, and writes a flat file. There are 33,600 records on the input. All fields are strings at this point. As of yesterday this graph was reading 33,600 and writing 33,600. Today I added a few new data elements to the end of the file and...

File Event Listener

Hi,
We are running server 3.4.3. I do not see an option for a File Event Listener. Is it because of the server version or is it configurable or ?? I only see three options

-Graph Event Listeners
- Universal Event Listeners
- Manual Task Execution.

Thanks

Re: LookupJoin Error

Never mind...I was focused on the metadata and the sql but It looks like a problem with some of the data in the .xls.

LookupJoin Error

Hi, I'm trying to use a LookupJoin component in a graph. Port 0 data is from an xls reader. The lookup is a DB lookup. Join key is simple last name, first name. When graph runs it gets an error: --------------------------------- Error details ---------------------------------- Component [LookupJoin:...

Re: LDAPReader

I will send a log to [email protected].com. We are definitely hitting a limit. I get the same result from another LDAP client. It is cutting off at 20,000. As mentioned in original post, we found the 20k limit on the LDAP server and it has been increased, however Clover seems unaware of the increase...

LDAPReader

Hi, We have a graph that has been running along fine until last week. I see a message in the log that I suspect is part of the problem: WARNING ! Ldap Search request reach server size limit ! Any ideas about this message? My system administrator bumped up the limit on the domain controller but we st...

ERROR: Metadata "X" does dot equal to metadata "Y"

I am getting the subject error on a DataIntersection component. The documentation says :

"It does not need identical metadata on its inputs"

http://doc.cloveretl.com/documentation/ ... tract.html

So why do I get the error??

Thanks

Re: Database lookup

I eventually got this working. It turns out that I had a dumb mistake in my code. I had changed the lookup .get call but neglected to change the .next call. So the .get was calling new lookup and .next was calling old lookup. Like I said...dumb. Anyway, thanks for your help, sorry for the trouble.

Re: Database lookup

Marek,
Thank you. Yes we are running 3.0.0. Is there some way I can send you the graph outside of the forum? This graph is one piece of a much bigger graph. It was created to isolate the sql we need to change.

Re: Database lookup

Hi, I’ll also mention that my Clover ETL designer is acting funny when I try to work with these lookups. For example: - Open one of the lookups to review the query. Close - Open the other lookup, click the Edit button - The “Extracting” window pops up and just hangs. No matter how long I wait…it jus...
